Duties and Responsibilities

The successful candidate will provide high-level secretarial and administrative support to the CFO. Key responsibilities include:

  • Answering and screening telephone calls for the CFO’s office
  • Acting as a liaison officer on behalf of the CFO
  • Making travel, accommodation, and other reservation arrangements
  • Preparing reports and correspondence as requested by the CFO and Finance Manager
  • Arranging and managing the CFO’s appointments and diary
  • Organising meetings, preparing venues, agendas, and taking minutes for various committees
  • Filing and archiving all departmental documents in an organised manner
  • Monitoring and ensuring accuracy of financial documents related to the CFO’s office
  • Managing and coordinating day-to-day office activities as delegated

Minimum Requirements and Qualifications

Applicants must meet the following minimum requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in Administration or an equivalent qualification
  • At least three (3) years’ relevant experience as a Personal Assistant
  • Intermediate or Advanced computer literacy certificate
  • South African citizenship

  • Typing speed of at least 35 words per minute
