Key Responsibilities
- Conduct research testing and data collection using advanced sport science tools
- Assist students and researchers during practical sessions and demonstrations
- Ensure regular equipment maintenance and functionality within the Sport Performance Lab (SPL)
- Comply with all health and safety procedures within the SPL
- Support administrative operations and manage student-related lab tasks
- Offer technical assistance and guide students and staff in using equipment and testing protocols
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
- Advanced Diploma in Sport & Leisure Management OR equivalent Bachelor’s degree in Sport Management/Sport Science
Experience and Skills
- Minimum 6 months of experience in handling sport science equipment such as:
- Metabolic Analyzers
- EMG (Electromyography)
- EEG (Electroencephalography)
- Biomechanics Cameras
- Isokinetic Devices
- Experience in:
- Conducting research testing
- Assisting students during practicals and tutorials
- Lecturing or research supervision (advantageous)
Preferred Attributes
- Currently registered for postgraduate studies in Sport & Leisure Management
- Demonstrated voluntary/internship participation in sports management research or industry projects

- Organizational skills: Effective time and project management
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication abilities
- Technical know-how: Hands-on with sport performance testing tools
