- Managing and developing teams under direct supervision
- Coordinating stakeholder engagements at national, regional, and international levels
- Ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and governance frameworks
- Advising the CEO on strategic and operational matters
Minimum Requirements and Qualifications
To be considered for this senior executive role, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Be a South African citizen
- Hold a Master of Business Administration (MBA), LLM, or equivalent qualification at NQF Level 9
- Have at least 5 years’ senior management experience in a human rights environment OR 3 years’ executive management experience within human rights bodies
- Training in good governance will be an added advantage
- Demonstrated experience in human rights, law, social sciences, communications, ICT, or organisational development
- Proven transformational leadership with strong managerial skills and strategic vision
- Experience in developing and managing strategic and operational plans
- In-depth knowledge of constitutional law and gender equality legal frameworks
