  • Overseeing strategic projects from planning to implementation and evaluation
  • Ensuring prudent financial and human resource management in line with PFMA and relevant legislation
  • Managing and developing teams under direct supervision
  • Coordinating stakeholder engagements at national, regional, and international levels
  • Ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and governance frameworks
  • Advising the CEO on strategic and operational matters

Minimum Requirements and Qualifications

To be considered for this senior executive role, applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Be a South African citizen
  • Hold a Master of Business Administration (MBA), LLM, or equivalent qualification at NQF Level 9
  • Have at least 5 years’ senior management experience in a human rights environment OR 3 years’ executive management experience within human rights bodies
  • Training in good governance will be an added advantage
  • Demonstrated experience in human rights, law, social sciences, communications, ICT, or organisational development
  • Proven transformational leadership with strong managerial skills and strategic vision
  • Experience in developing and managing strategic and operational plans
  • In-depth knowledge of constitutional law and gender equality legal frameworks
