Job Purpose
The Loan Officer will be responsible for promoting, processing, monitoring, and recovering loans in line with ATCL SACCOS policies and regulatory requirements to ensure loan portfolio growth, quality, and sustainability.

Job Purpose
The Assistant Accountant will support financial operations by processing loan payments, managing cash and receivables, maintaining asset records, and ensuring all financial activities comply with ATCL SACCOS Ltd financial regulations and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
Key Responsibilities
- Process loan payments to members and payments to suppliers
- Manage cash flow and accounts receivable
- Maintain and update the non-current assets register
- Review monthly bank reconciliation statements
- Record invoices, payment vouchers, and petty cash transactions
- Prepare monthly expenditure reports and supporting documents
- Update members’ accounts with payroll deductions and recoveries
- Submit statutory deductions to relevant authorities on time
- Ensure expenses remain within approved budgets
- Process payments through electronic fund transfers (EFT)
- Handle payment-related queries and retirements
- Verify payroll deduction records and recovery reports
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field from a recognized institution
- Minimum of one (1) year experience in accounting or finance
