The TPP Program Officer provides technical, operational, and administrative support to the In-Country Program Coordinator for planning, implementing, coordinating, and monitoring TPP activities in Tanzania. This role ensures smooth day-to-day operations while supporting field interventions, reporting, and stakeholder engagement.

Duties and Responsibilities
The TPP Program Officer will perform the following:
- Program Planning and Implementation
- Support preparation of annual and quarterly work plans
- Translate program strategies into site-level implementation plans
- Coordinate activity timelines across pilot villages and partner institutions
- Ensure activities follow approved budgets and timelines
- Field Coordination and Supervision
- Supervise and support Village-Based Consultants (VBCs)
- Conduct field monitoring visits
- Review weekly timesheets and activity reports
- Reporting and Documentation
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports
- Compile and summarize reports from VBCs and thematic leads
- Maintain organized program documentation for lessons learned, training, and meetings
- Support donor reporting and program presentations
- Partnership Coordination
- Maintain relationships with local authorities, community leaders, partner institutions, NGOs, and civil society
- Assist in stakeholder consultations, partner meetings, and joint planning sessions
- Financial and Administrative Support
- Track field activity expenditures
- Ensure timely submission of financial documentation and receipts
- Assist in budget monitoring and variance tracking
- Logistics and Operations
- Coordinate travel and logistics for staff, partners, and collaborators
- Support workshops, trainings, and community events
- Communication and Representation
- Represent TPP in meetings and events as delegated
- Assist in preparing communication materials, success stories, and program updates
- Safeguarding, Ethics, and Compliance
- Promote ethical, inclusive, and participatory approaches
- Ensure compliance with institutional, donor, and legal requirements
- Other Duties
- Perform additional programmatic or administrative tasks assigned by the Program Coordinator

Qualifications and Requirements
- Master’s degree in Community and Rural Development, Public Health, Sociology, Social Work, Education, Development Studies, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in development programs in Tanzania
- Experience working with local governments, NGOs, and international institutions
- Experience in field-based program implementation, reporting, and coordination
